There's only one place where you can hear Michael Lewis speak and watch The Head and the Heart and Daveed Diggs perform. Notes & Words, the annual benefit for the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, brings all your faves together. The event raises money to support research and keep the children's hospital one of the best in the country. Geek out with a performance by Vocal Rush, the Oakland a capella group that placed third on NBC's The Sing-Off; humorist Calvin Trillin, who has contributed to The New Yorker since 1963; best-selling author (and podcast host) Kelly Corrigan; and the Oakland School for the Arts Chamber Choir. The mash-up ensemble finale will be worth it alone.
