A 5k is approximately 3.1 miles. You probably already knew that. But what you didn't know is that on April 1 in Pleasanton, the Insane Inflatable 5K puts a gleeful twist on the standard run in the form of an inflatable obstacle course. There are nearly a dozen challenges to get through, with names like The Humps and Wrecking Balls, culminating in an exhilarating slide down to the finish line. Expect to dash, climb, leap and dodge your way through the course with a bunch of other folks who like their exercise to be a lot of fun. What better reward for running than jumping around a 70-foot bounce house? No joke: April Fool's Day is going to be a blast.
