An EDM-themed boba shop in the Inner Richmond? When the rumor began floating, it was more than enough to pique the interest. And now it's a reality. Gosu is the brainchild of 22-year-old Joey Tran, who combined his passions for bubble tea and EDM in a glowing, black-lit space that soft-opened this month. The rave-culture mantra of PLUR (peace, love, unity, respect) guides the business, which offers tea, savory snacks and desserts. In keeping with its PLUR ethos, Gosu trades kandi — plastic rave jewelry, to the uninitiated — with customers. Tran plans to host glove nights and hopes Gosu will become a haven for Bay Area DJs. Get in on the action early. Non-ravers are, of course, welcome.

An EDM-themed boba bar.
Because blacklights, boba and beats deserve this alliteration.
