So, a couple of friends came together with an idea to give your boring flannel shirt a bit of a twist. True story: They used elbow patches and materials capable of rivaling your dad's Pendleton shirt. And now, with the temperature dropping, Pladra's pop-up shop (opened in November and running through January 15) will cater to all your flannel fantasies — they have been recently called out by Outside Magazine for having the best flannel shirts in the country, after all. See for yourself at their holiday launch party on Saturday, December 17, where there will be shopping and sipping (of free beer courtesy of Fort Point Brewing).

Pladra, a local SF company is giving flannel shirts they attention they deserve.
