A converted warehouse in industrial Tottenham is perhaps the last place you would think to look for Chinese food. But the supper-club kids behind Lucky & Joy have a knack for scouting out unexpected and atmospheric locations. This time Ellen Parr (of The Art of Dining) and Pete Kelly (Background Bars) bring us regional Chinese cuisine using traditional recipes, inventive twists and themed cocktails, reflecting the diversity of regions across the ancient nation. Spiced kebab and braised stew dishes represent the Muslim northwest, while plates from the Sichuan area play with street food classics. If you're lucky, you might even arrive to a fresh batch of homemade sesame fortune cookies.
