Gallons of oil once filled the space where priceless artworks now hang. The Tanks at the Tate Modern pump at the heart of the former power station and, for Ten Days Six Nights, experimental-art lovers have the chance to experience the gallery at its most vibrant. From 24 March to 2 April, innovative installations, performances, films, and music and dance events have been programmed across 240 hours. Highlights include a sculptural performance using fabric and sound, an immersive fog sculpture on the South Terrace and a live cinema experience inspired by the myth of an elephant graveyard in Sri Lanka. The industrial spaces allow for a whole new way to interact with art.
