Remember the good old humble waffle? Well, it just got a makeover and it's so damn delicious that it's becoming London's favorite dessert. Let us introduce you to Bubblewrap. Hailing from Hong Kong, these sweet egg waffles originated in the 1950s and became a popular street snack. They're wrapped into a cone shape and filled with toppings of your choice. As the name suggests, the pastries are covered in bubbles, which are not only tasty but highly Instagrammable too. The menu features a choice of three waffle flavours — plain, matcha and cocoa — filled with creamy gelato, sauces and toppings like KitKats, Oreos, marshmallows, nuts and fruit. The waffle is back.

What's better than a dessert? A dessert with bubbles.

Wanderlust infected foodie with a passion for words, a soft spot for theatre, an infatuation for jazz bars and a healthy addiction for cocktails. I have been on a steady relationship with London for the past 5 years despite having a fling with New York last Christmas. You'll probably find me in the backstreets of Soho trying out a new ramen restaurant or a cloak-and-dagger speakeasy.
