Congratulations, you made it! You managed to survive that gray, heavy winter and even confronted the unpredictable weather of March. (Hopefully our selection of cool music events helped.) There's no one out there who deserves a delightfully springy spring more than you. Now it's time to grab your phone, call your favorite people and start making plans for the next few weekends. But first, find out what you'll all be getting up to by reading our spring guide to the city. It will be a fine one this year.

Kahve 6

via Facebook

You know what the Little Prince says: What’s essential is invisible to the eye. So, next time you’re in Cihangir, look deep into Kahve 6. Because the farther you go here, the closer you will get to a little garden in the back. Once it's become visible, grab a small wooden chair, settle in at a worn table and, if it’s Sunday by any chance, enjoy an İzmir breakfast with variety of jams, such as black mulberry. Any other day of the week, you’ll still enjoy the offerings of the light, natural and organic menu under a leafy canopy.

Where: Anahtar Sk. No: 13, Cihangir
When: Daily, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 a.m.

When that irresistible honeysuckle scent begins wafting through the air, when the birds begin to sing more joyful songs, you know spring is here. Bring the season inside with a vase of beautiful blooms: Ayça from Vesaire designs and creates fresh, modern and lush bouquets from scratch and delivers them to your home (or the home of a lucky someone in your life). Check out some of her designs on Instagram for inspiration.

Feneryolu Sahil Yolu

Now that the air is clearer and the sea is calmer, the islands are all more visible — which means it's time to relocate your runs from Bağdat Caddesi to Feneryolu Sahil Yolu. Inhale the fresh air as you jog a 6 km path with both soft and hard custom-built surfaces along the coastline of Kadıköy.

Aşşk Kahve

via Facebook

You can easily find a terrace bar, cafe or restaurant in any corner of this city. But to tell you the truth, none of them compare to Aşşk Kahve. It's easy to miss if you don't know where to look, but once you've been you'll wonder how you ever passed it by. The menu offers a range of options, from pizza to vegetarian dishes and cocktails, and we swear the Bosphorus view makes everything taste even better. Don’t forget to order Aşk-ı Memnu, a house-made mille-feuille with rum sauce and strawberries.

Where: Muallim Naci Cd. No: 64/B,
Kuruçeşme, Beşiktaş
When: Tues.-Thurs. & Sun., 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Fri. & Sat., 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
