Walk to your desk, sit down, lift your head and type with your hands. Day-to-day movement seems simple, right? Challenging this idea is the art duo Quarto. Anna af Sillén de Mesquita and Leandro Zappala, who have been collaborating since 2003 and travel between Sweden and Brazil, imbue the body's daily, seemingly ordinary movements with surprising significance by using a 500-meter rope. The performance, aptly titled Knot Body, is both moving and poetic. It premiered in Malmö, where the artists developed the piece, and is being performed tonight and tomorrow at MDT. A few taps of the fingers and you'll have your tickets.

Quarto's Knot Body offers an artistic representation of the human body's movements and our interconnectedness.
A stunning performance beats midweek TV and takeout.
