What do Don Draper, Carrie Bradshaw and James Bond have in common? They're well-dressed fictional characters, yes — and they all have iconic cocktails tied to their names. Whether you too enjoy your martini shaken not stirred, or prefer a pink Cosmo, you can indulge during Lisbon Cocktail Week, April 21-29. With more than 60 participating establishments, plus creative concoctions and lots of surprises, the event promises to be grand. To help you decide where to enjoy the liquid feast, we're sharing five of our favorite cocktail bars.

It's virtually impossible to make a list of hip bars in Lisbon without mentioning one in Bairro Alto. And besides, Park is simply a fabulous choice. This rooftop parking-lot-turned-bar offers a stunning view of downtown while making you feel like you're far away in its little oasis of wooden furniture and green plants. And if you get hungry, just snack on the menu of small plates and burgers. With a mojito in hand, the sunset streaking the sky and a DJ spinning tunes, you cannot go wrong.

Where: Calçada do Combro, 58, Piso 6, Bairro Alto, Lisbon
When: Tues.-Sat., 1 p.m.-2 a.m.; Sun., 1-8 p.m.

Upon arriving at number 5 on rua do Salitre, you'll spot a button labeled "Press for cocktails." Push to enter an intimate, laid-back speakeasy. Red Frog's 1920s and '30s decor, long cocktail menu, and jazz and funk playlist will win you over in short order. Try the Lx Sour cocktail (gin, musca wine and citrus) and relax: You're in good hands.

Where: Rua do Salitre, 5A, 1250-196 Lisbon
When: Mon.-Thurs., 6 p.m.-2 a.m.; Fri. & Sat.,

Rio Maravilha

via Facebook

With its vibrant colors, Rio Maravilha is a bar-restaurant where socializing is the order of the day (or night). Set in a former break room of LX Factory, this gastropub is perfect for lunch, dinner, a quick snack or drinks. With a view of the river and of 25 de Abril Bridge, it's a favorite for a night out with friends. The cocktail menu is excellent — try the raspberry margarita  as are the mouthwatering Portuguese and Brazilian dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Where: Rua Rodrigues de Faria, 103, 1300-501 Lisbon
When: Tues., 6 p.m.-2 a.m.; Weds.-Sat., 12:30 p.m.-2 a.m.; Sun., 12:30-6 p.m.

Principe Real also has its fair share of iconic bars. Take Foxtrot: With its art deco style, jazz music, and top-notch wine list and cocktail menu, it is definitely a place to be in Lisbon's nightlife scene. Plus, the kitchen is open late, so you can soak up your drinks with food. Speaking of drinks, try a cocktail called Between the Sheets, a seductive mix of rum, cognac, triple sec and lemon.

Where: Travessa de Santa Teresa, 28, 1200-405 Lisbon
When: Mon.-Thurs., 6 p.m.-2 a.m.; Fri. & Sat., 6 p.m.-3 a.m.; Sun., 8 p.m.-2 a.m.
