"What's behind the red door?" We had wandered into a quiet nook of Roma Sur and found ourselves at a red metal mystery. Inside, we discovered a white, square room with some tiny yet powerful pieces of art. Amidst the din and dizziness of Mexico City's art scene, Lulu stand out as a refuge for artists like Nina Canell, whose small acrylic cube with a cross section of cable wire floating in its center captivated us with it's simplicity. Founders Martin Soto Climent and Chris Sharp keep the focus on the heart and soul of the art-world: art making. Go ahead, make an appointment, and knock down the red door.
