At first we heard, "Mmm!" As we gaped down Tsakalof street, we only realized what the excitement was about once we saw the white cups. We've all experienced the craze over frozen yogurt, but at Yozen, the secret worth sharing here is that it's 100% Greek! The owner, Angelo, gets his ingredients fresh from a small farm in Kardista and garnishes the frozen yogurt with homemade sweets made by the Women's Association of Northern Greece. If you glance up at the ceiling, the store is even decorated with images of the Greek ABC's. The only problem you'll have here is choosing out of the four weekly special flavors: cheesecake or apple pie? (Luckily, they are low in sugar.) Don't forget to try the waffle "souvlakia" dipped in a waterfall of chocolate—you'll go back for seconds!
