We did a double take! Walking along in Chalandri the last thing we were expecting to see was a pink elephant. Tucked away on a dead-end side street, we followed the magenta sign to the steps of the charming outdoor dining area of Pink Elephant. Having cooked 'Royal Indian Cuisine' across Sweden, Finland and Crete, Chef Assand has finally brought his spicy creations to us Athenians. With over 40 marinades and sauces made using fresh ingredients, rare herbs and exotic fruits, there's few things on the menu we wouldn't gobble up. Skip the heavier naan bread and ask for their specially made onion and garlic flatbreads. Perfect for scooping up some of that leftover Korma! Bhog keejeeae!
