We love all the fusion fandango that's happening in restaurants these days - but sometimes we just crave the basics, done right! We discovered a little restaurant housed in an old home from 1920's where the dishes resemble the traditional ones you would find in any Greek village - and then some. At the hands of Mrs. Maria, the kitchen at "Αρχοντικό" sings! Named after her village in Messinia, this modest little restaurant serves up aromatic spinach pies, perfectly roasted pork with prunes, and tender dolmades made with cabbage. Stop on in to try these dishes for yourself - and if you do, ask for Stavros (Mrs. Maria's son) and say hello from us!
