Cool bars and Kotbusser Tor almost always go hand in hand. Our favorite at the moment is tucked away just behind a graffiti-covered entrance next to the stop. Fahimi Bar is a darling of decadence in an area where underground grime is the go-to aesthetic. Here, the surroundings are as craftily created as the cocktails. Sip a drink like the Blood and Sand (Scotch, maraschino, Antica Formula and blood orange juice) in an industrial art deco space with elevated views of the U-bahn and passersby below. The rentable back room, perfect for work parties, comes with a DJ deck, a personal bar and a gorgeous view. Just don't forget those reservations.

Cocktails and smooth ambience with views of the urban madness below.
A bar this tasteful is a terrible thing to waste.
Skalitzer Str. 133, 10999 Berlin
Tues., 8 p.m.-1 a.m.; Weds., 8 p.m.-2 a.m.; Thurs., 8 p.m.-3 a.m.; Fri. & Sat., 8 p.m.-4 a.m.
This bar has a solid local vibe, so having a German speaker in your group is a good idea to ensure excellent service.
