Any major city is going to have at least one famous delicacy. And, locals will tell you, there's a specific place where you must try it; as a result, that place gains institution-like status. When in Brussels, you eat fries at Chez Antoine. In Paris, to have the best frog legs, you go to Roger La Grenouille — unless you're a local avoiding tourist traps. That is, until now. Thanks to a new management team, Roger La Grenouille has had a refreshing facelift and has updated its menu, which includes frog, of course. For a change, though, you can try the mouthwatering burger as well as classics such as the blanquette or the Paris-Brest. It's good to be utterly Parisian from time to time.

One of Paris's oldest bistros gets an upgrade but still serves the best frog legs you can imagine.
To say Parisians are in love with food is an understatement.
