Thursday nights are about to get lit. Vancouver TheatreSports League is flipping improv on its head with its newest weekly show, aptly titled #NoFilter: The LOL of TMI. The show pokes fun at our overly connected digital world, using live-streamed social posts projected on the theatre's giant screen plus audience suggestions (which can be sent via text or tweet) to guide each scene. At times audience members get to play trolls and hecklers, commenting on everything from improvised YouTube montages built from real-life tweets to an on-the-spot "TED Talk" to a mini-movie based on the "I Saw You" section of Craigslist. Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to find the perfect gif for this event.
