We love local, and it doesn't get much more local than East Van Jam, a collection of handmade artisan jams created by Vancouverite Natalie Ferrari-Morton. Each of her flavours honours a different character typical of East Vancouver's neighbourhoods, from the bad boy Fig Vicious (starring figs, balsamic vinegar and sea salt) to the Tom Cat tomato-and-basil spread. And this ain't your typical jam: Made from local and mostly organic fruit that Natalie and her kids have picked by hand, these jams have way less sugar than other varieties. Bonus: Every single jar has at least one cup of actual fruit. Lots of flavours are already sold out, so grab a jar tout de suite!
