Mardi Gras. It comes but once a year. Luckily, the good people at Mamie Taylor's opted to extend the Fat Tuesday debauchery into a two-week celebration. Mamie's crafted a special N'awlins menu with dishes of both the Cajun and Creole varieties — delicacies like turtle soup (don't knock it till you try it), jambalaya and traditional gumbo pair perfectly with classic New Orleans cocktails like the Vieux Carré, Sazerac and hurricane. Along with a heaping dose of debauchery, the restaurant will be serving up slices of king cake, a traditional dessert with a surprise baked inside. Swing by and load up on eats, beads and a Louisiana-style good time from February 17 until March 3.
