It's like the reverse mullet of bars: business in the back, party in the front. In the small, vintage-inspired space of new neighbourhood spot Bathurst Local 322, you order drinks (and eats) through a window in the back, then gather at the tables up front to sip (or chug, or shoot). We tried two elixirs on our last trip: The Last Words mixes gin, chartreuse, maraschino and lime. The Bathurst Blackout (don't say they didn't warn you) is a combo of rum, Averna and bitters. There's also wine and beer — think options like Kensington Augusta Ale and Mill Street Organic Lager — and a modest but tasty menu. After months of construction, we declare Bathurst Local 322 was worth the wait.
