If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Or in the words of 2017: You do you. Léontine is a new French restaurant in the 3rd District paying tribute to the proud culinary tradition of French bistro cuisine. The menu offers an ever-changing five-course meal and a small selection of à la carte dishes. Proprietors Nicolas Scandella and Ninon Roux want less in the way of quantity, more in the way of quality. Try the crispy frog's legs served with potato espuma and truffle for that quintessential French flavor, or dig into one of the variations of baguettes and croissants. The space itself is informal, or as Nicolas and Ninon call it, "sans chichi," with a touch of Viennese Beisl coziness. Très chic.
Léontine serves classic French bistro cuisine in the 3rd.
Because fine dining can be both affordable and non-snobby.
