Over the last few years, food trucks have rolled into the streets of Vienna, bringing with them some delectable offerings. Popping up at music festivals, food festivals and basically any festival out there, these roving restaurants are a trend we can stand behind (or chase down the street). When you're looking for a quick lunch or flavorful bites, whether between meetings or museum trips, you can find anything from sandwiches and burgers to seafood, Chinese favorites and even waffles on a stick. Here, our top food trucks.

Pull & Eat

via Facebook

Husband-and-wife team Markus and Bettina Barth have been part of the Austrian gastronomy scene for years, and you can taste the results of all their experience at Pull & Eat. The food truck serves seven next-level sandwiches — try the Balik Ekmek, inspired by Istanbul street markets, featuring a brioche bun stuffed with grilled salmon, avocado, arugula, tomatoes, onion confit and chili sour cream. For classic Viennese fare, try the Snail Mail. And we're huge fans of the Roberta, a toasted sesame bun stuffed with grilled sausage, pumpkin, pickles and a divine paprika apricot salsa.

Hy Kitchen

via Facebook

It’s easy to salivate when you spot the postwar Citroën compact van that houses Hy Kitchen. The reason is simple: founder Monica Kranner serves fresh Wagyu beef burgers and fancy drinks. That said, if you spot the Ibérico pulled pork burger on the blackboard, order it pronto.

Kimbo Dogs

When those in the know reach peak "must have hot dogs" phase, they seek out Kimbo Dogs. You can choose among eight gourmet topping combinations on a frankfurter, bratwurst, vegan sausage or kangaroo sausage. The dogs are inspired by global street food flavors and range from The Mole (avocado, feta, bacon, tomato and Mexican mole sauce) to Mr. Banh Mi and Herman Ze German, served on a pretzel roll with sauerkraut and mustard.

Wrapstars' mission? Make the world a better place one wrap at a time. And boy, does this food truck deliver on that promise. The burrito-style wraps are stuffed with fresh, seasonal ingredients, beginning with a base of organic couscous, black beans and cabbage. You can’t go wrong with the signature wrap, Tasty by Nature, featuring a mix of cheddar and Gouda, avocado herb salsa, house-made BBQ sauce and another 19 ingredients. No wonder Wrapstars has become a cult favorite since hitting the scene in 2013. Mission accomplished.
